My Affair with Books

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been fascinated by books. My first exposure to books, though it was only pictorial books, was when I was just a few months old. As I grew older, I was introduced to books about fairytales and magic. Now, you may think of me as this introverted freak with only a book as my best friend. Well, I'm glad to say that I am thankful that I was always in the company of friends who are book lovers, so that did not make me a social outcast. :)

I find that books are so magical that they never fail to draw you into that enchanted foresty world that the characters live in. I remember my favourite authors were Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl. I can never stop putting down the books, reading title after title. As puberty hits, reading horror story books like R.L. Stine, Christopher Pike and Singapore Ghost Stories were cool. Not long after, my interest slowly shifted to chick lits like Julia Quinn, Sophie Kinsella and Cecilia Ahern, just to name a few.

Over the years, I have had a fair collection of books. So instead of letting them gather dust on the shelves, I've decided to sell some of them at a fair price; prices much lower than I have bought them. Rest assured that the books are in pristine condition unless I have specifically stated otherwise. Being a booklover, I can never bear to make dog ears, scribble or do anything damaging to the books. Also, all books are only read once. Please feel free to browse and may you find something that you like. Cheers to books!
